Sunday Rain Children's Book by Rosie J. Pova

Elliott has just moved into a new house. He spends his days with his fictional friends, immersed in a book. When an inviting Sunday rain gathers the local kids to play in the puddles, Elliott longs to join in, but he's too shy to go outside. Soon, Elliott discovers that new friendships are like a new book–you just have to plunge into the adventure.

Sunday Rain is a joyful tale of an imaginative child discovering friendship in a new neighbourhood – through adventure and play. Young children will love the energetic storyline and brisk pace, with a sprinkling of fun sound words throughout. Amariah Rauscher’s charming watercolour illustrations show great attention to detail to describe this gentle rainy day adventure story.

Rosie J. Pova is a multi-published children's author and school presenter whose mission is to inspire kids to believe in themselves, dream big, and follow their passions.

Amariah Rauscher lives in Illinois with her family. She holds an MA in Communication, and is the illustrator of the popular Princess Truly series. When she isn't painting, Amariah can usually be found reading a book.
